WAFU

We build a noodle company's brand from the ground up, name and all. It's loud, proud, and full of colour: say hello to WAFU.

This Brief

Most briefs start with a brand, but this one started with a blank page.

We had a unique opportunity: to build a brand from the ground up. All we started with was the basics. It was a noodle brand, it was tasty, and it was high in protein. After that, it was up to us to create everything from the name to the brand identity.

The challenge was still real though. Among hundreds of noodle brands filling up the supermarket shelves, how does one create something that manages to stand out, feel authentic, and look tasty?

This Approach

The flavours pack a punch, and the protein makes you strong. So for our branding, we went even stronger. A high-energy colour system that differentiates flavour by flavour, and custom illustrations that give each one its own personality. We made it loud, fun, and impossible to ignore; everything a noodle brand should be.

This Result

In the end, the brand was born: WAFU. It’s a name that’s punchy, memorable, and cuts straight to the good stuff, just like the noodles.
